They are produced in three standards: compressed, cemented and posteriorly mounted ones which can be used with any types of conductors. The advantages of employing this fitting are: • a long lifetime binding that takes care of the conductors • the quality of the installation is constant, the spring fastening ensures a constant compressing force • the conductor can slip at a certain tensile load difference, thereby the damage of the insulator, the crossarm and the tower can be avoided • the vibration resistance and long lifetime of the conductor are ensured by a wedge-shaped compression piece which fixes the conductor near to the neutral wire.
